FF9 SUMMIT STATION - WIP

This is something I wanted to do for a long time : remake the summit station of Final Fantasy IX (©Squaresoft) in 3D. The South Gate was my favorite place in the game, especially the cable car station at the summit. 14 years ago, I swore to myself that one day, I would become a CG artist and re-create the place. And... well...

As you can see, there is still a lot of work to be done. All the textures, shaders and lights are temporary, as I want to finish all the geometry first, and the platform section is currently empty. I mixed things from the official artwork and the in-game render to take the pieces I preferred from each one.

The characters were ripped from the game and put there for fun, but I plan on redoing them someday. For now, the background is my priority.
